Special Tribune with “Star Trek: Next Generation” Cast Members of
30th Anniversary Saturday Night!
Star Trek fans will celebrate a weekend of everything “Trek” as Creation Entertainment returns to New Jersey with The Continuing Voyage Convention, Friday through Sunday, September 29 – October 1. This three-day event will be held at the Hilton Parsippany, 1 Hilton Court, Parsippany, 07054.
Meet the Stars of Star Trek
The Continuing Voyage fan event will celebrate Gene Roddenberry’s legacy to all of us with on stage appearances by a Starfleet worthy line-up of Star Trek celebrities including: On Friday, John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox of Enterprise), Tim Russ (Tuvok of Star Trek: Voyager), Martha Hackett (Seska on Star Trek: Voyager) Robert Picardo (Voyager’s Doctor) and Daniel Davis (Prof. Moriarity in Star Trek: The Next Generation); on Saturday, Michael Dorn (Worf of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), and Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar in Star Trek: The Next Generation).
On Sunday, the 30th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation is celebrated with on stage appearances by: Brent Spiner (Data) Jonathan Frakes (Cmdr. Riker), Gates McFadden (Dr. Crusher), and Marina Sirtis (Counselor Troi), as well as a appearance by JG Hertzler (Martok of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). Throughout the weekend signing autographs and doing photo ops will be Karl Urban (Bones in New Star Trek Films) and Nichelle Nichols (legendary original cast member from Classic Star Trek Uhura)
In addition to celebrity appearances, the non-stop auditorium show will include behind the scenes presentations, costume and trivia contests, no minimum bid auctions of unique collectibles and one-of-a-kind items, and special salute videos and previews of upcoming sci-fi television shows and motion pictures. Also there will be an exhibit hall on Star Trek and sci-fi collectibles, and autographs and photo ops.
After Hours Events
The excitement will be turned up on the weekend with two lively after- hours events. On Friday night, a Karaoke Party, free for all, takes place with some drop-in celebrity guests Then, on Saturday Night, the Star Trek: The Next Generation cast members come together for a special reunion event that promises to be hilarious and a time to remember. A separate ticket is required and starts at $30.
General admission tickets are available in advance or at the door for $30 on Friday, $65 on Saturday and $50 on Sunday. Children six and under are admitted free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Show hours are Friday, 11:00 – 7:00 PM, Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, and Sunday, 10:00 M – 6:00 PM (times are tentative).
